Haru FES 2021 Team Competition

What is "Team Competition"?

Team competitions are tournaments that only Center Students can participate in. The tournament where you form a team and compete with your friends for the first time in mental calculation is an opportunity to unleash your potential and greatly improve your mental calculation. Whether you win or lose, it will be a valuable experience and will motivate you to learn every day!

Team Competition Details

Date:Mar 27, 2021
・J stage 12:30〜14:30
・S stage 14:00〜16:00
・U stage 15:30〜17:30
※About 20 minutes per game, the winning team will advance to the next game.

■Divisions
・J division・・・J7〜J12 / 1 team of 5 people, at least 3 people required
・S division・・・S1〜S12 / 1 team of 5 people, at least 3 people required ※Up to 2 J-stage learners can participate
・U division・・・U1〜U12 / 1 team of 5 people, at least 3 people required ※Up to 2 J-stage learners can participate
※Accepted at the learning stage at the time of application, and the team will not change even if the stage goes up after that.
※If there are not 3 people on the day, you will lose without trying. However, up to 2 players are allowed to continue after the match starts.

■Participation conditions
・Center students aged 5 to 12 years old, J7 to U12 stage learners
・Those who can participate in Zoom with video ON and publish their faces on the Web and SNS. We may also interview children during the match.
・One person cannot participate in multiple teams.
・If the brothers and sisters enter different teams and the match times overlap, we cannot make adjustments.
(By preparing 2 iPads and 2 Zooms, you can participate even at the same time.)
・You can change members by 5:00 pm the day before
・The team name is the classroom name, and if multiple teams participate in one department, add AB ... at the end.
・Participation in a combined classroom is possible, but please select one classroom for the team name.
・One teacher can participate on the day with video off. When you receive a support message, please turn on the video.

■Judgments
・Team competitions compete for the total points of “Ready Go!” and “How Many?”
・The first battle will see three to four teams compete for the top two positions. The top two teams will proceed to the next battle.
The second battle will consist of four teams the first place winner will proceed to the next round.
The final battle will be a one on one competition. The winner and runner up will be determined in this battle.

・ Winning or losing is decided by the average number of points per team, and even if the number of people is small, it will not be disadvantageous.

■Awards
・Gold and silver medals will be delivered to the student apps of the winning and runner-up teams in each category at a later date. There will be no 3rd place playoff.
・Participation prize will also be delivered to the app of all participants

・U stage:Normal 2 digit 10 numbers/ 3 digit 5 numbers/ 4 digit 3 numbers etc

Play online using zoom. Participants need a device that can connect to zoom in addition to the iPad (mobile phone, PC, etc.)
It will be delivered live on YouTube on the day. In addition, we will post the faces of children on SNS, HP, etc.
Please note that we will not be able to respond if the screen is not visible or the audio is interrupted during the match.
