How SoroTouch was born

“I want my kid to be confident in numbers with abacus!”
It started with the strong desire of mothers who wished for their children’s growth.

We thought that for children to live confidently in a rapidly evolving society, a sense of competence with numbers and calculations would be a great help. After researching various teaching materials and teaching methods, we became convinced that “abacus is the key.” We started an abacus class to improve children’s mental calculation abilities.

Abacus-style mental calculation is a great way to calculate!
But it is not easy to master.

Once the “Abacus-style mental Calculation” is mastered, one can perform calculations in their head for the rest of their life. In the process of learning, they can also acquire timeless essential abilities such as study habits and determination.
However, even though we can teach the children how to use an abacus, we cannot see inside a child’s mind. Are the children being able to properly visualize the beads in their heads? We have faced a big problem. The abacus-style mental calculation was not something that could be easily mastered.

A new learning method was born,
with children, parents, and classrooms working together.

Children, parents, and classrooms all worked together to create a learning method in which children can “Imagine abacus beads in their head and intuitively associate numbers with the shapes of the beads.”Additionally, we have visited mental calculation classrooms and educational events around the world, and continued to think about “What is truly important.”
The abacus changed into a tablet. It became easy to tell whether the beads are “visible” or “invisible” by touching the tablet. After much struggle, determination, and countless trial and error, SoroTouch was born.
After a further two and a half years of development and testing, SoroTouch became available to the public.
SoroTouch continues to spread around the world as an innovative product that allows children to develop their mental calculation abilities while having fun.
